I posted last week (Head gasket 6-08-2003) about all the problems I'm having with my savage. I discovered the problem was in fact the broken off bolt that had fallen into the spark plug hole. Well, my wife's father and cousin, who have experience working on bikes, are going to put it all back together for me, but I need a lot of parts. I have found a few websites that offer parts at good prices, ,but only if you have the correct part number. I've tried going to bikebandit.com but they don't have fiches for any savage made after the 80's...mine is a 2000. I've tried punching in part numbers from an 86 savage fiche, but most of them come up "item not found". Is there anywhere online where I can get current part numbers for my bike?
